Chinese astrologer and commentator Li Li said on his Sina Weibo microblog that he had seen recent events which shocked him and he was “shocked” by recent incidents such as the shooting and killing of two people at a popular shopping mall in the southern city of Guangzhou.
Li told reporters on Thursday that the incident in the city of Wuhan had shocked him because he was a Chinese astrological practitioner who has been practising in the country for nearly 50 years.
He said the shooting of the two men was “not the first time”.
Li told journalists that he was shocked to see the shootings, which occurred at a shopping mall and that he could not understand why such a small town was targeted.
“We are astrologers who practice in China for more than 50 years, but it’s strange that this time the situation was so different.
I don’t understand what is going on in the world,” Li told reporters.
He added that he did not know the victims and the circumstances surrounding the incident, and added that Chinese astro-geometry and astrology are very different, but he was not sure if he was correct in his interpretation.

Reuters The shooting in Wuhany was the second time in a week that police in China have arrested a suspect in a mass shooting.
On March 14, an armed gunman stormed into a Chinese market in Guangzhou’s Jingyang District, killing four people and injuring nine.
A Chinese court later sentenced him to life in prison.
